MBNA looks to leverage 600 agent banks and 5,000 branch locations to produce consumer credit card applications.

OBJECTIVE: Increase the flow of point of sale credit card ‘Take Ones’ while meeting strict CPA goals.

STRATEGY:

  1. Develop a modular application design that allowed strong agent identification.
  2. Build a database of all display locations and code printed materials.
  3. Track and actively manage display network based on location activity.

RESULTS: Distribution network produced 250,000 applications and 55,000 new accounts per year with $25 to $30 CPA.
